CXI · cxillc.comStart & Stay Compliant — Route Atlas

An entity-services route atlas · Operated by PA Registered Office Services, LLC

Starting an LLC is a route, not a form. We map it — then hand you to the operator who runs your stretch.

Search engines will sell you a filing. What they won't do is tell you which state's rules you actually live under, what a registered office is for, or what happens in month thirteen when the annual report comes due. CXI's guides walk the whole route for each state we cover — formation, registered office, the recurring deadlines — and our routing quiz puts you on the right operator's road: PA CROP Services if your entity lives in Pennsylvania, RA Navigator for registered-agent coverage across the US, and Sethhost if you're founding from outside the US.

Not sure which road is yours?

Three questions. No email required. The quiz routes you and tells you why.

CXI sells nothing and files nothing. It is a feeder: the guides are free, and the operators it routes to are the ones that do the work. Every handoff is disclosed and tracked — see how routing works.

MAPState guides — start and stay compliant

The Pennsylvania guide is complete: every step, fee, and deadline on the route, because PA is where our operator actually works. Neighboring-state guides cover the formation route and the decision that matters most — whether you belong in that state at all, or in Pennsylvania, or registered as a foreign entity in both.

RTThe route every founder actually travels

1

Choose the state you operate in — not the state with the famous name

Your entity's home is where your business physically works. Forming in Delaware or Wyoming while operating in Pennsylvania doesn't skip Pennsylvania: it adds a foreign registration in PA on top of the home-state upkeep. Two registers, two fee calendars, zero savings for most small operators.

2

File the formation document

In Pennsylvania that's a Certificate of Organization filed with the Department of State — the act that creates the LLC. Name availability, entity type, and the registered office address all ride on this one filing, which is why the guide for your state goes step by step.

3

Seat a registered office / agent that actually receives things

The registered office is where the state and process servers send paper. It must be a real address, staffed in business hours, in the state. This is the step founders under-buy and the step whose failure — a missed notice — costs the most.

4

Calendar the recurring deadlines before you celebrate

Formation is a day; compliance is a calendar. Annual reports, tax registrations, license renewals. The founders who stay in good standing are the ones whose deadlines were written down — or watched by a monitor like Relgard — on day one.
